Do you offer custom packages?
Our plan lineup spans the web hosting spectrum. We do not offer any hosting packages that you can set the features and/or limits. Why go through the trouble of creating your own custom package when we have affordable options that have been designed to fit your hosting package.
Do you have an educational program?
Yes. Educating our youth is extremely important and donating web space to schools is a small contribution that could potentially make a big impact. The LogicalPages Education Program provides free web hosting for educational purposes to K-12 public schools in the U.S. and Canada.
Do you give non-profit discounts?

My website gets a lot of traffic, will this be a problem?
This usually depends on the nature of your website. While relatively straightforward sites (think basic html/xhtml content, most shopping sites, webpages, blogs, etc.) can receive tens of thousands of hits at any given time and work perfectly fine, problems can arise with more complex sites, typically sites with a large number of images, scripts or interactivity with visitors. Tens of thousands of users each accessing a database at the same time can cause quite a strain on a server and might be too much for a shared web hosting environment.
Shared hosting
(a term for standard web hosting) means that your site will share
a server with other users. This allows for plenty of usage while
keeping prices low, but certain sites may not be appropriate for such
an environment. If you are unsure whether your high volume website will
work with our shared plans, please feel free to contact our customer service department,
and we will be happy to assist you in determining the best solution for
your needs.
What if I need more space and bandwidth?
Yes, you can upgrade your account at anytime if you need additional space and bandwidth. Upgrading your plan to a higher plan provides a much better value than paying for additional bandwidth and storage on the side. Please contact our customer service department with your customer ID and we will take care of your request.
Please note: once your plan is upgraded we can not downgrade the same plan for at least one month.

If you are using the same version of the cPanel
control panel at your present hosting provider, we will move your site
to our servers free of charge.
If you are using another control panel, and would just like
someone to “take care of it”, we are available at
$50/hour for extended
support and consultation.

How often do you backup my account?
We perform nightly backups on all accounts.
However, you may not want to count on our backups alone! Your website is important, and you are the one ultimately responsible for ensuring that your data is backed up!
We make every effort to back up all account data on a
nightly basis,
but we can not guarantee that our backups will be complete, up-to-date
or
even available. We are not responsible in the event that some or
all of your account data and settings are lost (please see our service
agreement
for more information).
This may sound cold and heartless, but it helps reinforce the importance of making your own site backups.
You should always keep an
up-to-date copy of
your
website on your local computer. By doing so you will always have a
copy of your site on hand in the event of data loss.

All annual hosting plans include a domain name for free! This special offer applies to our Basic, Advanced and Pro plans. The domain will be free for as long as you host with LogicalPages. The domain is registered in your name, you own it and have complete control over it. Register additional domain names for as little as $9.95 per year.
Why do I need a domain name?
On the World Wide Web your domain name is your own unique identity. No two can hold the same domain name simultaneously. Therefore your domain name is totally unique.
If you have a business website on the Internet, your domain name is your online brand and in a sense you can use your domain name as your online business card. With your own domain name, your web site and email addresses will have a professional look, being unique to your business.
Many people often miss the importance of having
and keeping their domain name until they lose it. Once this
happens they soon realize that they have lost their whole online brand
and identity.

You can also transfer your existing domain names to LogicalPages with the click of a button.
Can I add extra domains to my account?
Yes. You can host an unlimited number of domains (or
websites as
some prefer to call them) on each account. At LogicalPages there is no
additional costs for this service.
Can I buy a domain name from LogicalPages without a hosting plan?
Currently we do not sell domain names as a standalone
service. This is a service we will soon be offering.
When you place an order, the order form will ask you to enter a domain name for your new account. Our web servers will be configured to work with this domain name when your account is provisioned. If you would like to change the primary domain name on your account, you can do so by sending a request to our customer service department.
You do not, however, need to have this domain name registered before you place an order. If you do not yet own the domain name, you should make sure to verify that the domain name is actually available and not already in use. You can do so at our domain name lookup page.
Can you register domain names for me?
Yes, we can register a domain name for you through the purchase of one of our hosting packages.What are the different domain extensions and how are they different?
There are well over 100 different domain extensions existing on the Internet. Among them the most popular ones are .COM, .ORG, .NET, .CA, .CN, .BIZ, etc. Some domain extensions represent a country. For example, .CA represents Canada, while .US represents United States of America, and .CN represents China, etc. Other domain extensions represent communities and only certain group of people can register for them. Examples in this category include .AERO, .MUSEUM, and .PRO, etc. Namespro.ca offers some of the most common domain extensions at affordable prices.How do domain names work?
A domain name is very similar to an address forwarding service. The domain name is the address people type in their web browser to get to your web site. The domain name then points to the "real" address that contains your web site. The "real" address is called the IP address and is a series of numbers, such as 123.23.234.45. This IP address then points to the location on the server that contains your web site files. The reason we use domain names instead of IP addresses is because for most people a name, rather than a series of numbers, is much easier to remember. So, your domain name points to your IP address, which in turn points to your web site which allows users all across the Internet to view your web pages.

TLD refers to the suffix
attached to Internet domain names. There are a limited number of
predefined suffixes, and each one represent a top-level domain.

Installation procedure takes seconds and can be performed
by novice users without the need of setting up MySQL databases,
importing structure, chmoding files and without the need of other tasks
usually associated with installations.

Your account is normally setup within 2 hrs but we guarantee within 12 hrs from the time you place the order. Each order undergoes a series of fraud tests to verify the order's authenticity. You will receive your welcome email from LogicalPages once your order has been approved.
If one or more of the fraud tests fails, a customer service representative may ask you for additional information before activating your account.
My order wasn't setup immediately. What should I do?
Your order was likely flagged for further review and manual verification by a customer service representative. Your order will be reviews and you will be contacted via email or phone if additional information is required to process your order.

Do you allow Reselling on your current hosting plans?
The short answer is yes. On our current plans (Basic, Advanced, and Pro), you are free to do with your webspace as you may (as long as it is within the guidelines of our Terms of Service and Service Agreement), including selling that webspace to friends or clients. In fact our Advanced and Pro plans offer a great solution if you are looking to sublet just a few clients.
One point to remember is that all web sites will be access
throught the same control panel. Anyone with access to the control
panel will have access to the whole web space.
Can I host adult, warez or illicit sites or content?
No. Please see our Terms Of Service for permissible and non-permissible content on our servers.
